Rio Grande City CISD Security and Police department recently recognized Fermin "Frank" Alcazar for his 15 years of service to the district as he retires from his post. Chief Hernan Garza presented Alcazar with a plaque for his hard work and dedication as a Security Officer. He has been married with Thelma for 16 years and has a son named Frankie that lives in Houston, Texas. Savannah who is 13 years old is his granddaughter who he is extremely proud of and who brings him much joy. When asked what he would like to do now that he is retired he states," I have a lot of work to do around the house." Alcazar will have plenty of time not only to do that work around the house but also to dedicate time to his family and the hobbies he truly enjoys such as hunting and fishing.
